The Barisieur coffee and tea brewing alarm clock is a British invention for the perfect cuppa by your bedside.
Alright, so we’re fully aware a teasmade is nothing new and has existed in some shape or form since Victorian times, but The Barisieur is an altogether more refined prospect for 21st century homes.
A premium alarm clock is married with the soothing sounds of bubbling water and the smell of freshly brewed coffee or loose leaf tea, rather than the primitive spit and froth machines of the past that would have woken you in a panic.
Designed with a digital detox in mind, The Barisieur transports water from one vessel to the other due to something as simple as steam pressure.
A boiling beaker on the left is sealed with a bung, which is essential for transporting the water. This then boils due to the induction hob heating up the stainless steel base.
Steam pressure is produced, forcing the water out of the vessel and into the stainless steel filter, eventually brewing the perfect beverage.
Elsewhere, you’ll find a container for milk that lifts out from the tray and is cooled overnight and during the day with a bespoke Peltier cooler, plus a sealed drawer for your chosen tea, coffee and other necessities.
The machine has been beautifully designed for the bedside with scientific borosilicate glassware sitting on a charming walnut or rubber-wood timber tray.
Easy to use and available in black and white – just like your hot drinks.
