The Geneva Labs Touring/xS is a portable Bluetooth speaker from Switzerland wrapped in aluminium and leather.
Geneva Labs make Swiss precision radios and speakers with a kind of Russian nesting doll sizing policy and the perfectly portable Touring/xS is the new baby of the bunch.
The compact Bluetooth speaker is a fantastic travel companion finished in lightweight, aircraft grade aluminium and premium eco leather, and excels where others its size repeatedly fail – it’s loud.
Audio excellence extends to a deep rumbling bass that belies the size of a device small enough to fit into a handbag and a super long lasting 20-hour battery to cover most Christmas parties.
Geneva Labs carry 12 years of Swiss hi-fi engineering and inside each Touring/xS you’ll find a Class D amplifier powering two 40W neodymium front-facing drivers and a passive bass radiator at the rear.
The Bluetooth connection is enabled by clicking the smart volume dial on top, or old school heads can also connect via a 3.5mm analogue input.
As for that lush leather finish, you’ll be able to pick one up in fresh white, inky black, vintage cognac and sumptuous red – not our description, theirs – when it goes on sale for £135 in a matter of days.
If you prefer the idea of adding an FM/DAB radio into the mix, the slightly larger Touring/S released earlier this year is still available for £170.
