The Sublue Whiteshark Mix is claimed to be the world’s smallest underwater scooter for powerful sub-aquatic propulsion… when evading Jaws and escaping evil henchmen.
We jest, of course, but looking a little like the backend of the Starship Enterprise, the Sublue Whiteshark Mix is a double-propellor scooter suitable for swimmers of all levels.
Hold on to the handles and away you go as fast as a professional swimming athlete without breaking a sweat or looking like you’re having a heart attack in the water.
A minimalist and balanced design includes magnetic switches at the hand grips and its makers claim you can just pick it up and go, plus the portable nature means it can be taken on your travels – even packed into hand luggage.
The propulsion system consists of two independently developed and evenly equipped propellers with the force of up to 4kg and can help you reach depths of 120ft (40m). Just make sure you pack the scuba gear because its battery lasts for an hour and holding your breath won’t.
If you want to record your adventures, the Whiteshark Mix includes the ability to mount a GoPro camera, while zero buoyancy means it won’t sink to the bottom of the sea if you let go.
Other products in the Sublue range include the Shark Mini drone, operated remotely for when you want to explore underwater without getting wet. Alternatively, the the Shark Max is a larger drone with greater functionality, including 4K camera capabilities.
